Our first meeting at the Errl Cup Devil’s Lettuce Lodge was a success! We had about a dozen attendees at our first meeting last night at the Errl Cup Devil’s Lettuce Lodge. A small tour was given prior to the meeting and a great time was had by all.

INTRODUCING THE ERRL CUP’S DEVIL’S LETTUCE LODGE

The meeting was just a pleasant night from the venue, the fellowship, the lights, the guest speakers, and the wonderful gathering of like-minded people. Jim Morrison and his team have worked hard to make a nice place to meet and we truly appreciate that. We had a wonderful time and more importantly, we avoided the rain at Cave Creek courtyard. We cannot thank the venue enough for letting us come in from the cold!

We had some of Arizona’s strongest voices in cannabis joining us. I even got to share a smoke with the legendary Deb Staires of the Phoenix Cannabis Coalition. Coincidentally, I had just read her story earlier that morning on my home state’s mmj advocacy group: Oklahomans For Health. Her story recently went viral thanks to Herb.co and Illegally Healed. Thank you, Deb, for your service and for bringing your voice to NORML last night.

We also want to thank Gregory Fox for his ideas on establishing compliance protocols for medicated meetings. I look forward to implementing solid practices and operations to protect members and the venues who work with us.

My apologies to the guests for leaving early. My family and I had some important personal business matters to attend to. We want to thank you all for the patience and support as we balance advocacy, family, and cannabis work.

Next meeting is set for the first Tuesday of January. We are looking for speakers. Send and email to talk2normlaz@gmail.com to reserve a guest spot!

We’ll see you next year!
