Get involved with the cannabis industry and develop a number of transferable skills that can be applied not only to personal life, but also to the workplace. Volunteer to help at the SWCC Expo Oct 13-14!

swcc expo

Your Volunteer Service Includes:

• Employer Support and Hospitality – Greet visitors at vendor tables and assist them with locating hotspots at the Southwest Cannabis Conference, or help them with various tasks during the expo. This is a great opportunity to get one-on-one time with employers and their representatives, while gaining customer service skills.

• Class Visitors Support – Greet visitors during class, answer logistical questions such as what the class is about, distribute handouts, or help them find facilities. Learn how to work well with, and relate to, different types of individuals while building teamwork and communication skills.

• Logistics – Help set-up and take-down equipment; assist employers, students and staff throughout the fair. This is an opportunity to build leadership skills and strengthen your professional network.

• Marketing – Help take photos, or post about the class on Herbal Risings and Staff MMJ’s social media pages. Use your smart phone to conduct 1-minute video interviews with students, visitors, and your peers. This is a great way to develop or enhance current marketing and public relations skills.
