Since the beginning, AZ-NORML has been about people getting together to talk about cannabis in a positive environment. Going back to at least 2010, statewide Arizona chapters of NORML have hosted a PHX-area monthly meeting scheduled on the First Tuesday of each month, 7pm (aside from holidays and elections).

Since 2017 AZ-NORML has conducted our monthly meetings in MMJ patient facilities to accommodate medication for those w ADHS certified medical cards.

In addition to updates from our departments on state and local cannabis reform news, meetings feature highlights of national NORML activities, guest speakers on cannabis political or legal topics, information table, NORML merchandise, cannabis event calendar and public announcements section, our meetings also include updates from other cannabis activist groups.

When possible, AZ-NORML encourages rural local groups to create their own satellite NORML chapters. we will help you create them and attend to bring updates. The Tucson-area is currently represented by the Southern Arizona NORML chapter, which meets on the 1st Thursday of the month, 6:30pm.
