Those of you who are on the national NORML mailing list probably received the notice below about their efforts to join the fight for SB1494, the current version of the cannabis testing bill idea that we have been working on for the past three years. Currently the bill is stalled in the House still waiting to be assigned to committee after clearing the Senate two weeks ago.
We at AZ-NORML sure appreciate their support. Here is their letter asking for yours.

Arizona Marijuana Supporters,
Legislation is pending to require the Department of Human Services to establish standards related to testing medical cannabis products.
Senate Bill 1494 would establish a licensing scheme for third party testing laboratories.
Passage of this legislation will ensure that patients have access to safe, high-quality medical cannabis products that are of known potency and free from unwanted adulterants, molds, or pesticides.
The bill was approved by the Arizona Senate earlier this month, and now awaits action in the House.
Send a message to your lawmakers in support of SB 1494 now
Thanks for all you do,
The NORML Team
P.S. Our efforts are supported by thousands of people throughout the country as we work to advance marijuana reform in all 50 states and the federal level. Can you kick in $5, $10 or $20 a month to help us keep going?
